The Local Government Area Councils and MPP9

The Local Government Area Councils are critical adjunct in the implementation and by extension realization of the MPP9 objectives and goals. The Local Government Councils within the context of the MPP9 are expected to endorse the Community Development Action Plans (CDAP) and make contributions totaling twenty five percent (25%) of the communities’ micro projects. Under the framework of MPP9 programming the governance process and accountability structures of the Local Government Area Councils are being strengthened.
