•    Power point presentations: “MPP9: Roles and Responsibilities of Stakeholders” by CRS-DMU Team Leader, Dr. Susan Ohen and “Gender Mainstreaming in the MPP9 Programme” by PMU Gender Expert, Mrs. Tammie Kammonke.

•    Interactive Sessions were held to enable participants gain better understanding of the Programme..

•     A Welcome Address was given by the PMU Team Leader, Mrs. Margaret Hammer.

•    Speeches were made by: The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke; Mr. Ramon Reigada, Head of European Commission Delegation and  Dr. Shamsudeen Usman, Minister of National Planning Commission (NPC) represented by Mrs. L.D Bagaiya.

•    Remarks were made by: Mr. Ndoma- Egba, Special Adviser Department of International Donor Support and  Pastor Edem Ekong, Commissioner for Local Government Affairs.

•    The highpoint of the Workshop was the cutting of the partnership cake by the Governor assisted by the Head of the EU and Federal Government delegation.

•    A State Launch Dinner was held the same day in appreciation of the participants.
